How to suggest a service or contact

From your workspace, open Service suggestions or Contacts and add the details. Vetted entries appear in the shared directory.

Recommending a good plumber, AC tech, or movers is one of the highest-value things residents do for each other. Sukkan has a built-in way to do that.

From inside your workspace

  1. Sign in.
  2. From Your area, open Service suggestions.
  3. Click Suggest a service.
  4. Add the business name, category, contact, what you used them for, the rough cost, and a one-line review.
  5. Optionally upload a photo or invoice.

What happens next

  • Your suggestion appears in your workspace immediately.
  • The committee reviews community-shared suggestions — checking the contact is real, the licence is current, and the review reads honestly.
  • Vetted entries appear in the community contacts directory, with the original recommender anonymised.

What we filter out

  • Promotional copy from the business itself.
  • Unlicensed operators.
  • Reviews that read as marketing rather than experience.

If a service in the shared directory ever lets you down, post a follow-up in the same entry — this is how the directory stays accurate over time.
