New mosques and community amenities across Dubai

Civic infrastructure — mosques, parks, libraries, community centres — tends to lag residential delivery. The good news: it's catching up across many of Dubai's newer communities.

Recent openings of note

• Multiple new mosques opened across master-planned communities through 2024–2026.
• Park and cycle-track expansions in southern Dubai.
• Several new community libraries and majlis-style gathering spaces.

What residents tell us is still missing

• More frequent feeder buses to Metro stations.
• On-community schools rather than 20–30-minute drives.
• Walkable retail clusters — not just standalone supermarkets.
